Just Do It – Use this principle to achieve anything you want

Is there any dream of yours that you are wanting to do, but couldn’t do it till now?

I wanted to lose weight ever since I moved to Mumbai 1 and ½ years ago. Instead of losing weight, I gained weight.

There were many tasty food options available to me. It started from tasty Chicken Biryani to junky Vada Pav. And then there is the Non-Veg Burger combo from Burger King, that my friend had introduced me to during one of my night shifts and I was hooked to it.

I didn’t realize that I was gaining weight. But when my parents noticed the same during the time I visited them, I was shocked.

I was 16 KG overweight.

I wanted to be fit and lean, but I was too lazy to do exercise or control the food that I eat. What would happen when my food intake gets out of control?

I gained weight.

In January 2020, I decided to go to trekking along with a couple of friends and it was a revelation for me. It showed me how out of shape I was and that I should start to take my weight loss journey seriously.

My parents were worried about me gaining weight like hell and even they were asking me to lose weight.

I decided to lose weight but was still finding excuses to get started.

After a couple of months, I was watching YouTube videos and on a whim, I brought the weighing scale and Strauss Aerobic Stepper, which was required to do Transform T20 by Shaun T.

Instead of just thinking and finding excuses, I chose to Transform T20 by Shaun T and thought to myself: Just Do It.

The next day, I was not feeling like it. But I didn’t give any excuses and forced myself to do it.

This continued till 6 weeks were already over and finished Transform T20.

Heck, it was the first time that I finished a program and I was feeling great. I was also losing weight.

Next, I started Insanity Max 30 and applied the same principle.

Just Do It.

Soon, with a day or two of the break in between, I finished it.

Before starting the Transform T20 and Insanity Max 30, I weighed 80KG. By the end of Insanity Max 30, I weighed 59-60 KG. I lost 20KG’s of weight.

So if there was anything that you wanted to do in your life, don’t think about whether you could successfully do it or not.

Just Do It.

Follow this principle day by day and before you know it, you have already completed your goal.

The next area I wanted to focus on was to write Novel, Short Story, and Blogging.

Just like I had followed: Just Do It principle on my weight loss journey, I would follow it on the same for my writing. I would let you know how I fared in this venture.

What about you? What is your dream that you wanted to achieve for so long, but hadn’t started yet? Comment it and pledge to yourself that you would Just Do It.

Until Next Time,

Nagendra Kumar Yadav T.
